Daramuda Project is a collective project involving three talented female musicians; Danilla Riyadi, Rara Sekar, and Sandrayanti Fay. The project was born in March of 2017, and has now released wide variety of songs, sung by each member.
Under this project, the three are free to express their creativity by exploring different genres, creating distinctive yet cohesive sounds.
The Upstairs was formed on October 2001 in Jakarta by Jimi Multhazam and Kubil Idris, followed by Beni Adhiantoro and Alfi Chaniago. The band was inspired by bands of new waves such as A Flock of Seagulls, Devo, and Joy Division. Other than their upbeat song lyrics, The Upstairs is also known best for their charismatic frontman, Jimi Multhazam whose eccentricity and clever wordplay never ceases to amaze.
Oscar Lolang is a folk singer-songwriter from Indonesia. His background as an Anthropolgy student plus his fondness for Nick Drake, Peter Paul and Mary, Pete Seeger, and Simon & Garfunkel, makes him capable to put boldness and honesty in his music. It's depicted since his earlier Soundcloud song (Bila), his first and second single (Eastern Man and Little Sunny Girl), to his first album 'Drowning in a Shallow Water'.
Since he was a child, he has been playing guitar and putting a lot of interest to history, culture, humanism, and folklore. Joined a young record label from Jakarta, Karma Records in late 2015, Oscar has released one demo-album titled Sanctigold (2016), one mini-album titled Epilogue (2017), and a full length album titled Drowning In a Shallow Water (2017). He has collaborated with other fresh names in Indonesian Indie Music Scene like .Feast, The Panturas, Sky Sucahyo, to Efek Rumah Kaca.
Kelompok Penerbang Roket is a rock band hailing from Jakarta, Indonesia. Consisting of John Paul Patton (bass/vocal), Rey Marshall (guitar/vocal) and I Gusti Viki Vikranta (drums), this band of three was formed in 2011, drawing inspirations and fiery passion for music not from the US or UK, but from Indonesia’s own legendary rock bands that have long-since become their heroes, such as Panbers and AKA. Even the name “Kelompok Penerbang Roket” (or translated to Group of Rocket Flyers) is inspired from the song titled “Chartering a Rocket”, popularized by another legendary Indonesian rock band: Duo Kribo.
