Genre-bending trio, Elephant Kind, produce a modern classic in this decade displaying a mastery of mix genres. They debut in 2014 and quickly gained fan base who were sparked by Bam Mastro’s distorted pop-warm, somnolent, slightly out of focus vocals and Bayu Adisapoetra’s reinvigorated slick beats and ferociously sensual bass lines from Kevin Septanto.
Elephant Kind has released successful singles such as, True Love, Oh Well, With Grace, Montage, and Beat The Ordinary. The band quickly received critical acclaim, Jakarta Beat named them Best New Artist 2015 after the release of their second EP Promenades: A Short Film.
Daramuda Project is a collective project involving three talented female musicians; Danilla Riyadi, Rara Sekar, and Sandrayanti Fay. The project was born in March of 2017, and has now released wide variety of songs, sung by each member.
Under this project, the three are free to express their creativity by exploring different genres, creating distinctive yet cohesive sounds.
Oscar Lolang is a folk singer-songwriter from Indonesia. His background as an Anthropolgy student plus his fondness for Nick Drake, Peter Paul and Mary, Pete Seeger, and Simon & Garfunkel, makes him capable to put boldness and honesty in his music. It's depicted since his earlier Soundcloud song (Bila), his first and second single (Eastern Man and Little Sunny Girl), to his first album 'Drowning in a Shallow Water'.
Since he was a child, he has been playing guitar and putting a lot of interest to history, culture, humanism, and folklore. Joined a young record label from Jakarta, Karma Records in late 2015, Oscar has released one demo-album titled Sanctigold (2016), one mini-album titled Epilogue (2017), and a full length album titled Drowning In a Shallow Water (2017). He has collaborated with other fresh names in Indonesian Indie Music Scene like .Feast, The Panturas, Sky Sucahyo, to Efek Rumah Kaca.
Pamungkas is a singer-songwriter as well a music producer from Jakarta, Indonesia. His music is heavily influenced by many British Music such as The Beach Boys, Radiohead, The Beatles, The Smiths, Arctic Monkeys. Pamungkas strength lies in his ability to form his own style of music by merging the essence of Folk, the richness of Electronic sounds and the catchiness of Pop. Along with the powerful soothing voice and the skills of storytelling told in his works, he manages to create a new fresh dimension of sounds.
On June 2018, he single handedly present his debut LP “Walk The Talk” by writing, singing, producing, mixing, and mastering all by himslef.
